![]() I have changed the content of a Pop-In but I can't see it working You need to complete the WIZARD's 5 steps, and (re-) LAUNCH your Pop-In. If you are editing an existing Pop-In, you will need to continue thru all the steps to get to the last step to (re-)Launch the Pop-In. When you change the content of your Pop-In or any settings related to where it will displays or what triggers it, you must go to the end of the wizard and activate/launch your newly revised Pop-In. Additionally, Pop-Ins are by default set to be viewed only 'once' by a visitor (we will be providing you tools to change this frequency in the future). Of course, if you have already view the Pop-In you may not see the newly revised Pop-In. Therefore, you need to delete your 'cookies', in order to re-set your browser to re-present the Pop-In. How do I try new Pop-Ins without impacting website visitors ? To test a Pop-In and make sure that people don't see your work in progress, be sure to set the Live Dates to start in the future. Then, you can set your browser where you are previewing your website pages to ignore the start/end dates, and bring up the Pop-Ins in your browser only. To do this, simply add the following at the end of your URL in the website page (without the quotation marks) and press "Enter"
The TEST mode setting will remain active until you close your browser, or until you repeat the same process above, but using "off" in the URL (and press ENTER): "?cc_testmode=off". While in TEST mode, the display dates of your Pop-In are ignored and your messages are displayed regardless of when they are supposed to show up (but still respect your keyword settings). Also Pop-Ins that are programmed to be displayed only once a day will be displayed as many time as you request them. Can I decide when to make Pop-Ins viewable on my site? Yes you may decide to display your Pop-Ins only at selected periods. When creating Pop-Ins you are asked to set "Live Dates" which are the start and ends dates for Pop-Ins. Of course, you can access and edit a Pop-In at any time to change the end date, to make it stop appearing on your website. Do you provide statistics for the Pop-Ins? You can access reports that summarize Pop-In activity (currently, by month). The simple report at this time will show you what Pop-Ins where active (including live dates) and the number of times each Pop-In was displayed, and how many times it may have been Clicked. The report also indicates the keyword(s) that have triggered the Pop-In. This valuable information will help you interpret the behaviour of site visitors, their interests on your website, and the performance of your various Pop-in messages.
I just clicked on a Pop-In and it did not reflect in my stats The stats are updated every 15 minutes, so you may have requested a statistics report that has not been updated based on the recency of your Pop-In click (or view). Try to review the report later (after about 15 minutes) to see the statistics updated with your view and click of the Pop-In.
